Why the adapter info is no longer free

To make this possible, we maintain a comprehensive database, keep adapter types up to date, and invest in ongoing development. All this happens behind the scenes – time-consuming but essential to ensure that Kumja remains usable in the long term.

For over 14 years, the adapter info was available at no cost. But offering free support while Kumjas are passed on or bought second-hand is not sustainable. The paid adapter service helps to maintain the system and support the company – and is therefore key to Kumja’s continued availability.

What the service does – and what it doesn’t

The automatic adapter tool provides results only if your input is clear and our database can make a definitive match. If no result is possible, you won’t be charged. However, keep in mind: if the tool doesn’t return a result automatically—

In that case, we recommend a direct adapter purchase from our shop. This includes, if necessary, a manual review of your input – including follow-up questions, photo analysis, phone support, test set shipping, or free adapter exchange.
